News - Star Pupils 2010

STAR pupils from Stretford High School have produced another record year at the most improved school in the North West.

It�s been a nerve-wracking wait, but for many of the young people picking up their exam results today, the hard work has paid off.

Initial results show that 100% of students leaving school got a qualification, 80% of all students achieved at least 5 A* to C, 45% of Y11 students got 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths, and 93% of students got 5 A*-G grades. The average point score per pupil is 431.8, registering an impressive increase from last year�s figure of 422.6

The students have demonstrated amazing effort and thoroughly deserve these results as the reward for their commitment and hard work.

These results are also a testimony to the tremendous skill and commitment of our outstanding team of staff who have worked closely with young people and their parents over the last 5 years.

We are all confident that the Alumni of 2010 will go on to succeed in their chosen pathways and we wish them every success.
